Privacy & Cookie Policy

Effective October 19, 2026. Free Bible reading does not require an account, a purchase, or permission for analytics.

Who operates this website

The Word, Made Clear is published by Bravo Zulu Media. Our offices are at 506 N Sullivan Rd, Suite F-325, Spokane Valley, WA 99037, United States. The website is hosted with Hostinger in Arizona, USA.

Privacy and legal requests: support@bravozulumedia.com.

Information used to deliver the website

When you request a page, the hosting provider processes connection information such as your IP address, browser information, requested address, and time of access to deliver and protect the service. Server and security logs may be retained by the hosting provider. Rejecting analytics does not prevent the processing needed to deliver a page.

Optional audience analytics

Only if you accept analytics, this website loads Google Analytics to measure page visits and usage, browser and device information, approximate location, and visitor/session identifiers. Page visits may indicate an interest in religious content. We do not ask you to provide your religious beliefs or create a reader profile. Analytics is optional and is not needed to read Scripture.

Our site configuration disables Google advertising signals and advertising personalization. We omit URL query strings and fragments from the initial page address sent to analytics. Google processes analytics data under its own terms and privacy practices; see Google’s Privacy Policy. Processing may take place in the United States and other countries.

Cookie statement

A cookie is a small piece of information stored by your browser. We use the following categories:

Hosting infrastructure may use technical security measures required to serve and protect pages. Those are distinct from the optional Google Analytics script controlled here. Cookie expiry is not the same as retention of information already processed by a provider.

Choose, reject, or withdraw

The banner offers equally accessible accept and reject controls. No choice means analytics remains off. Use Cookie Settings in any page footer to change your choice. Rejection or withdrawal disables future site analytics and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site; it does not erase information already sent. Your browser also lets you delete cookies. If cookies are blocked, your preference may not persist between pages. With JavaScript disabled, the site does not load analytics.

We also keep analytics off when your browser sends Global Privacy Control. We do not use the site’s analytics configuration to sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Chapter searches and external links

Chapter search runs in your browser. No search submission form or reader account is required. Retail purchases take place on Amazon, Ingram, or Kobo, under their own privacy and sales terms. YouTube ministry links open YouTube. Those services may collect information when you visit them; their cookies are not controlled by this website’s consent setting.

Legal bases where required

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, optional analytics relies on your consent. Delivering and securing the website relies on our legitimate interests in operating a safe, accessible ministry website, subject to your rights and applicable law. Information you send in a request is used to respond and meet applicable obligations.

Retention and requests

Our consent cookie expires after 180 days. Hosting logs and Google Analytics records follow the relevant provider and account retention settings; the cookie lifetime does not specify those records’ retention. Contact Bravo Zulu Media by email at support@bravozulumedia.com or at the postal address above, marked “Privacy request,” for questions or requests to access, correct, or delete information, or to exercise rights available under applicable law, including restriction, objection, or portability where applicable. Please provide enough context to locate the information without sending sensitive documents unnecessarily. We may need to verify a request. You may also contact the privacy regulator responsible for your jurisdiction.

Children and changes

The reader is available to a general audience. We do not ask children to register or submit personal information. Contact us if you believe a child’s personal information has been provided to us. We will update this page when our practices change and request a new cookie choice when the purposes materially change.
